- Three tiers
- The federation is three leagues of twelve: the Premiership (tier 1), the Championship (tier 2) and the Alliance (tier 3). Every manager plays in exactly one tier each season.
- Promotion & relegation
- Three up, three down. The top three finishers in the Championship and Alliance are promoted; the bottom three in the Premiership and Championship are relegated. The Premiership champion defends the title; the Alliance cellar is the floor.
- Continuity
- Rosters, keepers and league identities carry across seasons via Sleeper's previous_league_id chain, so a manager's history is continuous even as they move between tiers.
- Regular season
- Each team plays a 14-week regular season. Standings are decided by win–loss record, then points for as the tiebreaker.
- Playoffs
- The top six teams in each tier qualify for a two-week playoff bracket. The #1 and #2 seeds receive first-round byes. The bracket winner is the tier champion. (Confirm the exact field size with the commissioner.)
- Tiebreakers
- Head-to-head is not used for standings; points for is the primary tiebreaker after record, keeping incentive on scoring rather than matchups.
- Keepers
- Each team may retain a set number of players from the previous season into the draft. (Confirm keeper count and round-cost with the commissioner — editable here.)
- Trades
- Trades are processed through Sleeper and are unlimited. Every trade ever made across all three tiers is recorded in the Trade Ledger on the homepage.
- Waivers & free agency
- Waivers run on a FAAB budget with blind bidding. All adds, drops and waiver claims appear in the Wire section.
- Scoring
- Half-PPR with standard Sleeper offensive and defensive scoring. The exact settings are configured per league on Sleeper — open the league page for the full breakdown. (Confirm with the commissioner if this differs.)
- Dues
- The buy-in is $25 per manager per season. The champion of each tier wins a custom NZFFFA jersey; further prize payouts are set by the commissioner and paid out at season's end.
